We told you before: something beautiful is growing between France and Parson Brown. Even Danielle Mitterrand ('I love music with a tear') and Philippe Starck ('I liked all the songs on your website and that rarely happens to me') now own a copy of The Farewell State.
Madame Mitterrand and monsieur Starck were the leading guests on Le Fou Du Roi at France Inter. Three million people listen to this show daily. Parson Brown were asked to perform their single A Walk in the Bright Light in a small line-up (guitar, bass, violin and two voices). Succesfully, we might add, according to the audience response and the reactions of the guests at the table. The whole show is available here (Parson Brown appears after approximately forty minutes).
In the evening the full band gained a lot of praise during their headline performance at Espace Kiron, which by now feels like a second home. With two memorable novelties: after its success at Ouï FM Space Oddity made the encore, and Rob played his brand new, ridiculously beautiful Gretsch set. |
