The video for Mexican Standoff (Falling Into You) won an important prize again. Bill Plympton's little animated masterpiece was chosen Best Music Video at the famous Italian Cortoons Festival. Recently the video clip won first prize at the 2009 Fargo Film Festival.

Plympton instantly became a big name in animation towards the end of the eighties when he produced a large number of short films for MTV. His sketching style and morbid humour soon became legendary. Plympton also made videos for Weird Al Yankovic and Kanye West. His short film Guide Dog was nominated for an Oscar.
